LP Front Load

    Can a balance be front loaded to an LP plan at the beginning of each year through an automated process?  We know that this is process is able to be done through add-ins.  But we were wondering if there is any way to run an automated process to do the upload.

      We have automation that pulls over certain balances, up to limits, from previous years. We also allot time on January 1 for the whole year and that is done via rules in the setup of the LP plan. So when we run our LP140 to start the year the system drops in a whole year of vacation.

        I should have clarified, we are looking at doing an initial allotment on Jan 1 and then employees would accrue on hours worked for the remainder of the year.

          It has been a long time since I looked at LP plans but have you tried entering the allotment on the LP03.2 allotment tab and also the accruals on the accrual tab for the same accrual rule?

            The other thing you should be able to do is upload to LP70 an amount for those eligible to receive the allotment each Jan 1.

              I have not used an accrual table and an allotment able in the same accrual rule. It would be interesting to see if that works.
