Summary of Functions:

Supports existing mid range applications or specific modules of enterprise wide system, investigates solutions to issues and presents recommendations to management. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and provides documentation as necessary. Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Required travel to outlying facilities on an as needed basis, must participate in beeper on-call schedule.

 

Duties:

Build, update, and maintain Business Systems, inclusive of Lawson, Invision, Tempus, Sovera, Midas, Kronos, and Standard Register applications as appropriate for areas of responsibility.

 

Use proven troubleshooting methods and tools to resolve system issues. This includes meeting with customers, coordination with other analysts within IT, as well as working with vendor personnel to provide resolution to customers.

 

Develop and implement new ideas for improvement in conjunction with user areas. Offer solutions on how to improve workflow.

 

Provide input to project managers for development and maintenance of project plans, prepares written plans for tasks or projects when asked.

 

Implement detailed tasks as required within the work plan for assigned projects. Accountable for due dates, driving tasks to completion and satisfactory customer sign off.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Math, Finance/Business or other relevant area and 2+ yrs. of relevant exp. ---OR---

Combination of Associates Degree in CIS, Math, Finance, Business or other relevant area and 4+ yrs of relevant experience.

 

Note: Includes experience in and understanding of logistics, workflow, business operations of Lawson Software application in one or more of the following: Materials Management/Procurement/Invoice Matching, General Ledger/Accounts Payable, and / or HR / Payroll.
