                           Data Mart Profiles

The Information Transfer Profiles (OLAPPROF) file stores the information for
each information transfer profile that is defined by the IA11.1 (Information
Transfer Profiles) program.

FIELD NAME DESCRIPTION/VALID VALUES UPDATED BY

OLP-DATA-MART-NAME   Alpha 20  (Lower Case)                      IA11.1  IA11.3
Data Mart Name                                                   IASV.1

OLP-PROFILE-NAME     Alpha 12  (Lower Case)                      IA11.1  IA11.3
Profile Name The Profile name field contains the IASV.1
                     name of the profile that is defined in
                     the IA11.1 (Information Transfer
                     Profiles) form. Each profile name
                     represents a run option that is used
                     when the data mart is updated. Run
                     options include the name of the calc
                     script, the outline load and data values
                     load options no load, incremental or
                     complete), and the names of the outline
                     dimensions to include in the build. This
                     user-defined field can contain up to 12
                     characters.

OLP-DESCRIPTION      Alpha 30  (Lower Case)                      IA11.3
Description The Description field contains a
                     description of the profile.

OLP-CALC-OPTION      Alpha 1                                     IA11.1  IASV.1
Calc Option The Calc Option field determines
                     whether the data mart should be
                     completely calculated (Essbase Calc All)
                     after the outline is built and the data
                     values have been loaded.

                     Valid values are:
                     Y = Yes; Default value.
                     N = No

OLP-CALC-SCRIPT      Alpha 8  (Lower Case)                       IA11.1
Calc Script The Calc Script field determines how
                     the OLAP data mart is calculated. If a
                     calc script has been defined, type the
                     name of the script in this field. If Y
                     (Yes) is specified in the the Calc All
                     field, the calc script is performed
                     after the data mart has been calculated
                     completely. If N (No) is specifed in the
                     Calc All field, and no calc script is
                     specifed, the data mart is not
                     calculated. To perform the default calc
                     script that is used by the OLAP data
                     mart, leave this field blank.

                     This user-defined field can contain up
                     to eight alphanumeric characters.

OLP-META-DATA-OPT    Alpha 1                                     IA11.1  IA11.3
Outline Load Option The Outline Build field specifies how IASV.1
                     the outline is built.

                     Value values are:
                     N = No Build
                     I = Incremental Build
                     C = Complete Build; Default value.
                     U = UDAs and Alias Names Only
                     Y = Update

OLP-DATA-LOAD-OPT    Alpha 1                                     IA11.1  IA11.3
Data Values Load The Data Values Load Option field IASV.1
Option specifies how the data values are loaded
                     into the data mart.

                     Value values are:
                     N = No Load
                     I = Incremental
                     C = Complete; Default value.

OLP-STAGE-OPTION     Alpha 1                                     IA11.1  IASV.1
Data Stage Option The Data Values Staging Option field
                     determines whether the data mart remains
                     active for users while new data is being
                     loaded. If the stage option is set to Y
                     (Yes), data is loaded in a temporary
                     data mart and copied back to the
                     original data mart upon completion. To
                     stage the data load process, there must
                     be enough disk space to support both the
                     original data mart, as well as the
                     temporary data mart, even though the
                     temporary data mart is deleted after it
                     has been copied back to the original
                     data mart.

                     Valid values are:
                     Y = Yes
                     N = No; Default value.

OLP-ACTIVE-STATUS    Alpha 1                                     IASV.1
Active Status The Active Status field contains the
                     status of the profile.

                     Valid values are:
                     A = Active
                     I = Inactive

OLP-META-OVERRIDE    Alpha 1                                     IASV.1
Outline Override The Outline Override field specifies
                     whether the data mart outline can be
                     overwritten when the data mart is built.
                     If overrides are allowed, the names of
                     the outline dimensions that are
                     specified on the IA11.1 (Data Mart
                     Profiles) form are the only dimensions
                     that are updated when the data mart is
                     built.

                     Valid values are:
                     Y = Yes
                     N = No; Default value.

OLP-DATA-OVERRIDE    Alpha 1                                     IASV.1
Data Values Override The Data Override field specifies
                     whether the data values can be
                     overwritten when the data mart is
                     loaded.

                     Valid values are:
                     Y = Yes
                     N = No; Default value.

OLP-CLEAR-DATABASE   Alpha 1                                     IA11.1  IASV.1
Data Values Clear The Data Values Clear Option field
                     determines whether the data mart should
                     be cleared prior to updating it. This
                     value does not apply if

                     - the data load option is set to I
                     (incremental load),
                     - the data load option is set to N (no
                     load),
                     - the data values staging option is set
                     to Y (Yes), and
                     - external data sources have been
                     specified.
                     Y = Yes
                     N = No
