Hello, a bunch of us PSA 3.1.2.367 users have an issue where upon entering our login and password and pressing enter, have internet explorer 6 (and 7) crash.  The window just closes with no error.

My machine was re-imaged and it then worked, but after installing my apps, the same thing happens.  Any ideas before another re-image and loading programs and trying Lawson after each install?

Also, are there any other browsers besides IE that will work?  Firefox just hangs when logging in.

    Thanks for any info.

This is likely an MSXML issue with Lawson Portal. Have you loaded the IE6 patches recommended by Lawson?

Where could we find the list of patches that Lawson recommends?

    Thanks,
    Gary

Take a look at this Lawson article, which gives some troubleshooting techniques, and has links to the patches: http://kmcollections2.law...TALLOGIN_DOCBOOK.HTM

John, I did steps one and 2 (installing the MSXML 4 SP2 and it's update) and my issue seems to be solved.  Thanks a million!
