Work Unit Variable(s)

    I am trying to make sense out of a user defined Flow (FTP node using File Channel) which is using Work Unit Variables and I can't find where the variables are defined or coming from. I do see where the variable values are coming from which is from Channels Administrator->File Channels tab but not the six variables. Where should I look?

      Assuming this is LTM. Go to Start -> Applications -> Process Server Administrator -> Configuration -> System Configuration. Variables can be found in any of the configurations found in here.

        Nope, that was the first place I checked and they're not there.

          Interesting. Did you check all the tabs in each configuration set? I am assuming you checked the Start node of the flow.

              Hi PD,

              I would think those just coming from Channel and Receiver setup for the File Channel. Since it's coming through that channel, the variables are just added as a matter of course.

              Go to Start>>Applications>>Process Server Administrator>>Administration>>Channels Administrator.

                What triggers this flow, wouldn't the work unit variables get passed from whatever triggers it?

                  By the way, the variables are created by the File Channel - there isn't a separate step to create those variables within the flow. The channels act just like a service - which is pretty much what it is.
