ProcessFlow Upgrade from 8 to PF9 - additional license fee

    We currently own ProcessFlow v8, and are looking to move to the Version 9. Lawson has stated that we have to pay for this upgrade. It seems odd that it requires another license fee, since we previously paid for ProcessFlow, and on-going maintenance fees.

    Does this seem correct to you? Have you encountered an additional charge for ProcessFlow 9, even though you already had PF8?

      Process Flow Professional is being replaced by Process Flow Integrator. Most likely you are getting the pieces for integrator that will allow you to go outside of Lawson with your flows. Check the pricing being quoted and it should say something about PFI.

      We purchased PFI last year to lock in the maintanence costs that Lawson was offering. We have not utilized the flows outside of Lawson as of yet but it is good to know we can.

        Thank you Mark! Ok, there is added functionality that can be applied outside of Lawson. That makes more sense now.
