ProcessFlow - work unit cancellations initiated by the system

    We placed a number of personnel action flows into production. Related Lawson forms being called in the designs included HR11, PA52, PA53 and manual use of PA100.

    A recurring issue at this time is that the related work units are canceled by the system without reason at various times throughout the day. For the customer, items in an inbasket requiring an approval action just disappear.

    Lawson has provided some guidance for troubleshooting but this issue continues.

    NOTE: All other flow designs and work units for Requisition Self Service, job requisition approval, invoice approval, etc. continue to run without issue.

    Has anyone run into ProcessFlow work units canceling in the system automatically? Can you provide pointers for continued areas of troubleshooting? Thank you in advance for any respons

      For Personnel Actions, I seem to remember ProcessFlow being buggy if you don't have the ProcessFlow Forms Definitions set up correctly. You might want to check that.

        Our process flow admin checked the froms and it has been defined accurately.

          When does it actually appear to be cancelled? At the time it is approved by an approver? Or at the PA53??

          You need to check the workunit logs for any errors. That would be your first stop to check.

            Not have the form definition would cause the workunit not to be created and triggered, not the cancellation of it.
