Does anyone know if it is possible to create a URL that links directly to a form in Portal without bypassing Mingle?

ie, I know that I can call https://server/lawson/portal?_TKN=GL10.1 but this bypasses Mingle altogether.

Further... I know that I can get to the "home" page for S3 under Mingle by calling

    http://mingle.server.com/...://infor.lawson-s3.1

is there anything I can add to that to get to a particular form?

Why not just create a bookmark or shortcut in Ming.le then? Remember portal is still there, just is running within Ming.le (Sharepoint). I think what you're asking is there a URL that starts Ming.le and runs a portal form directly?

Correct, the end user wants a link in a process flow notification e-mail that will take them straight to a form (assuming they are already logged in) or to the login window and then directly to the requested form if they are not already logged in.

Functionality existed pre-Mingle just looking to replicate the same thing within the new framework.

In case anyone is interested, here is the information.

          https://mingleserver/Site...mp;_ID=GL10.1_CUSTOM

Modify server, TKN and ID as necessary.  Your LogicalId may be different, you can get that information from the Ming.le HOME page.

Go to Site Actions-> View all site content -> Infor Application Deployments -> Logical ID

Does anyone know how to have the SharePoint - Mingle "Home - Splash" screen be the Lawson Portal?

The URL in the last post is great for users wanting to go directly to a form.  I am looking for the Mingle Home screen to be the Lawson portal.

Or better yet, be the Lawson Portal for some users and LBI for others, & RQC for a third set of users.

            Thanks.

            John

My understanding is that you can do this if you have Design Studio. The guide should explain how.

I'm not sure how to change the Mingle default but if you use a link to access Lawson and you change the link to be https://mingleserver/Site...://infor.lawson-s3.1
It will take you straight to the Portal.

Here is how to link to a particular form via Mingle.
Your url should look like http:///SitePages/InforSuite.aspx?LogicalId=lid://%26TYPE=s3form%26TKN=GL10.1

You can find your correct logical name at Ming.le HOME page.Go to Site Actions-> View all site content -> Infor Application Deployments -> Logical ID

Curious about leveraging this concept to set up drill-throughs to Lawson screens out of external, downstream systems. We currently do this, but set up our own staging areas and front-ends to facilitate surfacing the detailed data. I'd much rather configure the front end of the external system to build the URL to a Lawson form that then surfaces the detailed data.

One requirement is that clients always want is to pre-define in the external system front end things like the specific department, or account that they want to drill into. Do the Lawson forms support variables such as these to be passed via URL?

Note, I don't see Ming.le being used for the first few of these - we'll want to go direct.\

It looks like my Logical ID is the default. When I run it, I receive the error "No record Found for Logical ID lid://infor.lawson?s3.1 in the Infor Application Deployments list." If I look at Infor Application Deployments which I found in Site contents (not Site Actions), I have 1 item, and it is Infor Ming.le - Infor Lawson Plug-in with the Logical ID of lid://infor.lawson-s3.1. Is there something which was not completed or am I looking in the wrong place for the Logical ID?

Is there a syntax for passing a parameter ?

Here's an example of a Ming.le URL that 'deep links' to a specific record on AP20.

                          http(s)://Your.Mingle.URL/SitePages/InforSuite.aspx?LogicalId=lid://infor.lawson-s3.1&TYPE=s3form&_PDL=YourProdline&_TKN=AP20.1&_HK=ThisRecordsHiddenKey

Sorry to open this thread back up, but is there a way to use this Ming.le url to open custom html screens in the Lawson portal?

For example we want to open the page at: /lawson/xhrnet/glpaysplash.htm

Are there other options for "TYPE" in the url above?

Is there a way to create a favorite to access an environment user form?
