Any one tried customizing landmark using Lawson application designer ?

    like Creating

    - a new business class

    -  a new form etc.

which via config console is not possible till now.

      Hi Gok87,

Depending on your version of Landmark, LAD can be used for customization for some things in some modules, but not all. For example, mods to the Talent Management module are not allowed. That said, using LAD for anything is not easy and very little documentation is available. I'd strongly suggest you stay away from it if at all possible - particularly since I believe LAD will not be available to end users in the future (or even for LM10+ ???).

With the next major Landmark release (LM12???) they are supposedly adding the ability to create new business classes, form, etc. via configuration console. However, they will be "pseudo objects", meaning that all the "new" objects will be stored within some sort of user objects table rather than creating a real table to go along with the new business class. If you are hoping to create true new tables and objects like S3, that isn't in the cards.

      Good Luck! Kelly

        Hi kelly :)

Apologies for the delay in my replay.

I see Landmark technology v11 has the option that satisfies all our customization needs.
