It appears XML is not and option for reports beginning with 9.0.0.6 per my client rep and lawson support. They showed me how to turn it on, but it's really useless because there is no longer an option in portal to view it and be able to drill on reports like GL291. Our accountants use the drill function ALOT. Has anyone got a solution for this?
I believe that Drill-Around functionality is available via the Text output option, although most reports are 'uglier' in this format.
If you have the XML generation turned on, there would be XML definitions of the reports on the Lawson server, so you may be able to get to them that way - but you would need to find something to render the file as the report (and I don't know if Drill would work then).
I'm not sure why Lawson stopped allowing XML as a viewable option, the reports were easier to read (in my opinion). I do know that they took up a lot of disk space though.
