Applied all patches and lawson runs fine through LID...
But in portal it acts funny. When you do anything on a screen - the screen icons and names change, we also sec security violations (which is strange as we have security turned off in LAUA and LS).....we are still on LAUA.
Please see print screen - it is not an easy problem to explain

Just as a quick test, have you tried another browser on another machine to make sure this isn't a search/toolbar plugin problem?
Can you explain what "applied all patches" means...did you apply an LSF ESP + all/latest patches?
Did you also re-deploy in websphere?
did you also apply new version of portal?
What version of IE is this?

Andrew,
This looks bizarre, and seems like any combination of the following:
1) COBOL Compiler / lacobrts interfacing issue (did you run cmprts, if on UNIX)
2) latm issue (are you sure all patches applied installed correctly, etc)
3) Portal / WebSphere / Servlet issue (did you redeploy EAR files correctly)
4) As John suggested, browser issue (though I personally am leaning against it, based on your screenshots)

Just to update.
I had to recompile all programs - that cleared up the problem.

Are you having issues with drill arounds in portal as well? (we just installed 9.0.1.13)

Andrew - looking at your picture of the portal form display issues. We had the exact same problem after applying 9.0.1.13 and some patches - it turned out that the compile list was incomplete. Try a recomple of one of the problem forms and I think you will see the issue resolve. We ended up doing a recompile of the entire application because multiple forms were having the issue.

Oops, Andrew, sorry - I didn't see your post about already resolving this with a recompile. Good!
