Has anyone successfully scripted a IOSCacheRefresh? Looking to get an example if anyone has one.
Thanks,
Joe

Below is a script that you maybe able to use to automate an IOSCacheRefresh. An installation of cURL (3rd party tool) will be needed as well.
@echo off
SETLOCAL
SET CURLDIR= (the directory where cURL was installed)
cd %CURLDIR%
****run over SSL**** *****if not over SSL, remove the -k switch & replace https with http*****
curl -k -L -b dummy.txt "https://yourservername/sso/SSOServlet?_ssoUser=Lawson ID&_ssoPass=Lawson Password&_ssoLogin=Login&_action=LOGIN&_fromLoginPage=TRUE&_language=en-us&_ssoOrigUrl=https://yourservername/servlet/IOSCacheRefresh&_serviceName=SSOP" -o iosrefresh.txt --stderr iosrefrerr.log
IF NOT EXIST iosrefresh.txt GOTO END
FIND /i "Refresh complete" iosrefresh.txt > NUL
IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 (GOTO LABELGOOD) ELSE GOTO LABELWRONG
:LABELGOOD
ECHO IOSCacheRefresh COMPLETE %DATE% %TIME% > iosrefresh.log
COPY iosrefresh.log + iosrefresh.txt > NUL
GOTO REMOVEFILES
:LABELWRONG
ECHO IOSCacheRefresh NOT COMPLETE %DATE% %TIME%. cURL errors are shown below > iosrefresh.log
COPY iosrefresh.log + iosrefresh.txt + iosrefrerr.log > NUL
GOTO REMOVEFILES
:REMOVEFILES
IF EXIST iosrefresh.txt DEL iosrefresh.txt
IF EXIST iosrefrerr.log DEL iosrefrerr.log
:END
ENDLOCAL

installed cURL on AIX6.1, and curl -k -L -b dummy.txt "https://yourservername/sso/SSOServlet?_ssoUser=Lawson ID&_ssoPass=Lawson Password&_ssoLogin=Login&_action=LOGIN&_fromLoginPage=TRUE&_language=en-us&_ssoOrigUrl=https://yourservername/servlet/IOSCacheRefresh&_serviceName=SSOP" -o iosrefresh.txt --stderr iosrefrerr.log
replaced: ssoUser and ssoPass, output from iosrefrerr.log:
infappqa1:RDC:/tmp>cat iosrefrerr.log
% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current
Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed
100 2000 100 2000 0 0 7265 0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:-- 7380

if you can paste that entire URL in the browser, and it works, then it might be that the version of curl you have doesn't support SSL.

If you are using a vertically scaled cluster (in WAS), you need to set up your IOSCacheRefresh to take into account all of the servers, too. I thought that there was a KB article about how to do that, but I haven't been able to find it.
