Lawson search links - anyone having problems with the KB link?

Our users like to use the KnowledgeBase link from within the Lawson Portal, instead of opening a new IE window. We've just noticed that the link no longer works. We get the lawson.com login screen, but once you enter your credentals and click Log In, we get an http400 error. All the other delivered links work (Google, Yahoo, MSN) and I can even log in to my Yahoo account. I tried creating a shortcut link (in portal) as well (to Lawson Support) and it does the same thing (I get the same error).

I've opened a case with Lawson, and so far, they haven't a clue. Our network people can find no reason why this is not working as it used to. Has anyone else had this happen?

Since they moved to "mylawson" is no longer works, as it also requires authentication. Go figure.

Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

I'm in the process of testing a brand new LSF 9.0.1.5 environment that I brought on-line yesterday.

You are correct that if I try to go directly to the knowledgebase from within Portal, I get an http 400 error. However, I also found out that if I have another tab opened in Internet Explorer and have logged into MyLawson there, I can then go back to my Portal tab and access the KB link with no error. I know this kind of defeats the purpose of having the KB link in Portal, but it may aid in troubleshooting the issue.

It appears the Portal has a problem with submitting user credentials when a user is trying to log in initially.

Well isn't it odd that Lawson says that no one else has reported this as a problem, and that they cannot duplicate it. ????

And the other links DO authenticate...so why wouldn't Lawson?
