Hello Lawson Gurus! I'm so happy I found this website. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on how I should set this up in Lawson S3, version 10.

We have a healthcare company in Pennsylvania and I'm trying to find a way to add PSD codes in Lawson so that is easy to pull report for quarterly reporting of local taxes. Where would I set the PSD code in Lawson?

Appreciate any feed back on this.

    thank you

From PR06 with PA locality set up, press state reporting button and there is a field for the number.

We also enter them on location code so we can get the information from the work location. We use field number 1on the Contact tab.

Thank you so much for the quick feedback. Truly appreciate it!

I also have another question. We currently have the municipality and school district deductions set up and last year it printed multiple W2 for each employee.

        1. Do you set one deduction code for municipality and school district?

        2. If you have one deduction set, does that mean you have to override the rate in BSI?

        3. Do you report both the municipality and school district tax deduction on W2?

        Thank you

We only set up the municipalities. We do not have to override in BSI. It takes the full rate. Only one local wage/tax box is reported on W2. We file to one tax collector and they distribute. In order to take that option, we have to file monthly. We also are required to provide certificate of residence to the collector. We were required to put the descriptor of 28 (our location code) on the W-2.

          Hope this helps.
