I am trying to upload changes to the supervisor code on HR11 using MS addins. When I try to perform the upload, I am getting the error message that I must inquire first. Has anyone had any sucess uploading to HR11, and if so, what is the secret to be successful?

Thanks for any assistance that you can pass my way.

I just ran an add-ins for the supervisor code on HR11 in my test system without a request to inquire...

        Company number = _f263,EMP-COMPANY
        Employee number = _f265, EMP-EMPLOYEE
        Effective date (yyyymmdd) = _f267,EFFECT-DATE
        Supervisor Code = _f305,EMP-SUPERVISOR

I did the upload as "Change Only" and I am on LSF9.0.0 with Add-ins version 9.0.3.1.... Good luck! Run in your test system first.

I didn't have the effective date as part of my upload file. I've added that and was successful! Thanks for your help.

Something that might help... If the system asks for a field when you use the form you will need it in the add-ins upload. If the upload fails with the fields that are required when you use the form then you can try Ctrl+Alt+A in portal after making a change. This will show a lot of information about what was used/done to make the change. This even tells you how a hidden field must be formatted.

            Glad it worked....
