Smart Notification - Schedule Administration

    Hi,

    Recently my LBI database has been migrated from one server to another. And DBA's have copied SN database to target server.

    As earlier I had scheduled jobs for few infosets, but now everything seems to be disappeared, In "Schedule Administration" screen I couldn't view any single scheduled jobs. And also, I tried by creating new Schedule job for the infoset but it seems like it is not been created / saving new scheduling job.

    Please find the attached screen shot for your reference and it may explains my situation.

    As my users are getting affected due to scheduling of jobs, Could you please help me to solve this issue ?

      Have you restart Websphere on the LBI-server.

      We had the same problem a fes months ago and after we restart the Websphere on the LBI-server all schedulers are back again.

        Hi Ellen,

        Thanks for your reply. Yes we too restarted the several time, but still we are missing all schedulers.

          Looks like the smart notes scheduler portion in your installation files on the LBI sever has been commented out. Once you uncomment the scheduler in your file and restart smart notes the schedule jobs will show up but may not work if the URLs are different for both servers since you mentioned that you migrated to new servers.

          The best thing to do would be to delete the scheduled jobs and recreate new ones pointing to the new URLs.

            Could you please let me know, where exactly I need to look into for un-commenting the scheduller in the installation file ?

            We have migrated only LBI DB servers, not the application severs. In that case application server URL remains same.

              You would have to look under the smart notification peice where LBI is installed. I cannot remember the name of the files exactly.
