Confirmation of Delivery Device

Hello, I have an email I set up as a delivery device for Smart Notes; however, the email confirmation is not being delivered to the recipient. We noticed the email address if 48 characters. Does anyone know if there is a character limit when delivering Smart Notes to customers?
