Hi all!  I am new to Lawson, and a user has been set up with ADDINS attribute to ALLOW, and assigned the GEN profile as LawsonQueryToolsRole as required in the Lawson manual.  The user is showing in the Resource Manager, but she gets the error in the Summary.  Is it something on the Excel 2007 side, or a server permissions thing?

Some suggestions: Make sure you have the latest version from Lawson. It should be 9.0.3.1380. Also, review the add-ins user manual and verify the Visual Basic Code has been installed in Excel. Sometimes Microsoft does not automatically install things, the user has to do it. Is the ADDINS attribute working for other users? If not, check the configuration of the LawsonQueryToolsRole, it may exist but it may not be properly setup for your organization.

        Also, the user(s) need permission to write to C:\Program Files(x86)\Lawson Software\office addins\LoginDir ....
In that LoginDir an addinserrorlog.log and loginhist.nbp file are created and the user(s) need to be able to write to those files.
We are experiencing errors from this exact cause currently.
