We have edited our rqc_config.xml file to set some fields to required.  However, it's not taking effect.

We did this last year, but the system admin that did it is gone and we can't remember how to get it to take effect.

I went into Requisition Center Utilities and clicked the "Reload configuration file" button, but that doesn't seem to have worked.

How did you enter the field to be required? I had the same problem because I entered it incorrectly. I also had to make sure that I cleared my browser cache.

There's some sort of global "clear cache" that has to happen for any changes we make to be seen through Citrix.

Hi all. I thought I'd update on how we resolved.
Even with a restart of the websphere for RQC, we STILL had to have the end user clear their IE cache.
So, to get the changes in place, you have to move the new config file into place, use the Clear Cache option under the RQC Utilities, restart websphere, and clear your IE cache. This was what we did to make sure the changes were enacted.
          Thank you.
