I'm looking for a way to track changes in average cost by creating a custom SQL report. I'm not seeing that it's hitting the audit table which is where I was hoping to pull these changes from. I really just need to identify when the average cost changes significantly. Am I missing it somewhere?

That's a tough one. I don't believe the system tracks average cost over time. At least I've not seen this. I think you'd have to pull this on a daily basis and put each day's item average costs into one database and run your average cost change report out of there.

Agreeing with Jon. Average cost is an ongoing calculation. It's not a field anywhere that is changed so it's not really audited and we've never really seen the advantage in trying. We have sqls that monitor when the average cost vs true cost get too far afield from each other and the billing looks at a sql that calculates true cost.
