I heard some consultants but most was from HR, Accounting, Admin jobs that are now redundant with the buyout.

I feel bad for anyone that lost their jobs as part of the buyout. I was told a few customer front-end associates have lost their jobs. It might be a descent time for them to consider consulting opportunities.

Lawson has always pointed out that they use their own software in HR and Payroll. If Infor is taking over Administrative functions including HR and Payroll, will Lawson be able to continue making that statement?

I read something recently that said that Infor really likes Lawson's HR and Payroll... Maybe Infor will look to integrate Lawson HR/Payroll into their solutions? (Long-term)
QUOTE FROM INFOR ON "PRODUCT INNOVATION"
"Similarly, both companies are absolutely committed to innovation, and I am excited about the combined power of Infor and Lawson products and technology. Imagine Lawson’s enterprise financials and human resources and other products integrated with Infor’s manufacturing, supply chain, and asset management products to create a comprehensive ERP suite."

I think they see the Human Capital Management add ons as a big cross seller in their existing customers. Lawson has put a big deal of money and effort in those add on pieces to the standard HR suite. The cross promotional selling is the key I see here for them.

Mark, this will be great for my company and probably a large number of clients. I hope Infor sees the value of processs flow because any lawson client not using it is really missing out.......
