We are considering migrating our 901 MSCM implementation from a stand-alone Windows server to the AIX application server that runs LSF901 and our Lawson apps.
    - Anyone have a bad experience migrating MSCM from Windows to AIX?
    - Anyone have a good experience migrating MSCM from Windows to AIX?
    - Anyone know of issues with running MSCM on the AIX apps server?

We have been running MSCM on AIX for about 5 years now. We installed on AIX originally so I can't help with the migration experience but we have been running without many issues for a while. MSCM in general is one app that once you find a version that works well for your organization you seem to stay on it longer. We are moving to 9.01 Patch 10 this weekend and likely patch 12 in October.

Any issues we have seen have been more application related and not the related to the O/S.

We migrated MSCM from Windows to AIX around three or four years ago. It went well. We converted the database from Microsoft to Oracle at the same time which was more effort than moving the application itself. There weren't any documented procedures for doing a conversion like that so we had to make it up, but the process went as expected. After the conversion the application was at least as stable as it had been before. It was also convenient to have it running in the same environment as the core application, and we also eliminated a server and some network overhead. I never had any reason to regret doing the conversion.
