Inventory Control for IT Supplies

    We are looking to manager our IT supplies via Lawson.  Idea is to setup a Par Location vs. a Inventory Location (that isn't part of the Financial books)

      We have an IT Inventory Warehouse. We have all items in it tied to a restricted PO Class so only select users can even see the items. We then have a template tied to that warehouse and tied to the IT Onsite Managers by Requester.

      They can go to the template and it will display the "available to allocate" quantities for them. If they go over, it will back order. We have the IC12 for all items set to a fixed point reorder Difference, so it will reorder backorder quantities and bring the quantities back up to par.

      The pick tickets are "finished" by our warehouse when they ship and "released" when they get the signed delivery slips back. It's only around 100 items at the moment, but it is working fairly well for us.
