    Hi, everyone!

Hope someone can help me.  I'm trying to enable User Script option and I've been following KB 1211449.  I've gone into LSO, and created a role.  I'm having difficulties understanding step 2, however.

It says Once the role is created, it needs to be defined in the user's RM Info in LSA.

Where do I associate the role I've created in LSO with the users that need it?  Does it go in the PortalRole attribute?

That's about as close as I can figure?

Yes it does go into the portal role attribute in LSA. for example if default.xml is the portal role attribute than in smart office default will be a role to which you can assign to users.

Another way to check this is if in Smart office you go to the profiles editor there it should show you the name of the role and this name should match the LSA portal role attribute

I think you mean Settings and not Profiles. The current user's role is shown on the Profile tab of Lawson settings.
Also, keep in mind that there is a single PortalRole attribute that is used by both Portal/Ming.le and Smart Office. So if you assign a value to that attribute and the user logs into one of those systems and it doesn't have such a role, the default Role (default.xml) will be used.

Oh, VERY good point, (about Portal/Ming.le & SmartOffice) Vince. I hadn't thought about that until you brought it up. I've renamed my roles in ISO now.....
