We are a 10.0 LSF and LMK shop with ISS Federation - LSF as PSA. Trying to use ldusers.pl script to mass load users for the LSF side, then run ISS Federation sync to pull into LMK side. Need to add WFUser and OLEDB fields to XML if possible. Does anyone know 1. If these parms can be added? and 2. What would be the names needed in the XML? Gail

Hi..
I am using the loadusers tool as well using an excel file, and perl script. We were not able to figure out those parameters.
Even though it helps with many users, I still have to go and manually change the workflow user option etc.

I find the loadusers much easier to use, and you can set any parameter. We do set the WFUSER= parameter. The command is loadusers -f youruserloadfilename.xml. We run that in a command node from a Process Flow.

Here's the problem - Some of the ISS LSF parms are not in our perl script and not documented anywhere. I need all the parms that show in ISS LSF side, especially OLEDB and RunAs. Thanks for giving me the WFUSER parm. Does your perl script have all the ISS parms - can I have a copy of it? Thanks so much for the help.

We are not using the perl script. We are simply building the xml input file required for the loadusers batch load program.
Here is our file with the less-than and greater-than signs removed so hopefully it will get saved okay. We create and run this daily and usually have less than 30 changes (new hires, name changes, promotion to manager, demotion to employee, etc.).
?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?
XML
USERDATA ProductLine-"PROD"
USER ID="apersonl" RMID="apersonl" Name="Albert Person" FirstName="Albert" LastName="Person" CheckLS="YES" WFUser="1" Email="aperson@mhc.net" Group="SSMgrs" PortalRole="ssemp.xml" Role="0ProductLinePRODRole,PortalBookmarkEndUserRole,SelfServiceEmployeeRole,SelfServiceManagerRole" /
/USERDATA
IDENTITIES
IDENTITY ID="aperson" SERVICE="PROD_EMPLOYEE" COMPANY="1000" EMPLOYEE="12345" /
/IDENTITIES
/XML

To get any attribute names that I'm not using that that you need, suggest you download/install an LDAP browser such as JXplorer. What you need is under Lwsn, lwsnActiveMetaData, RMATTRIBUTES.

Excellent - I will look there for the missing parms. Thanks much!

After installing JXplorer, open a connection to your Host name (e.g. lawson.mycompany.net) with the default port and protocol LDAP v3. In the Base DN: field put o=Lwsn,dc=yourname,dc=com. The User DN: is cn=ldapadmin and the pw often is ldapadmin. (dc=yourname might be something like dc=law01)
Then you can browse any part of your LDAP - the attributes, groups, roles, RMID's, etc.

I know this is an old thread but you can also get all the parameters using the Resource Management Schema Editor which can be installed when you install Lawson Security Administrator.
