AC61.1 - Burden Code Assignment
Use Burden Code Assignment (AC61.1) to assign burden codes and pools
to any of the following:
- an activity group
- a posting activity
- an activity group and detail account category
- a posting activity and detail account category
When you run Activity Posting (AC190), burden calculations are triggered
by the burden codes and pools assigned to the activity and account category
in the transactions that are being posted.
IMPORTANT To create burden transactions, you must verify that the Calculate
Burdens field on AC00 is set to Yes. AC190 will not create burden transactions
if this field is not set to Yes.
IMPORTANT If the same eligibility criteria exists in multiple burden
pools for the same burden code, AC190 will create burden transactions for
only the first pool encountered.
**More Information
If no pool number is specified for burden transaction, AC190 used the
eligibility criteria and rates from the first pool it encounters. Pool are
numbered sequentially. If multiple burden pools exist, the first pool
encountered
is used. Any other pools are ignored.
