BN430 - Benefit Purge
Run Benefit Purge (BN430) to purge employee, COBRA participant, and
retiree benefits and their deductions. Lawson recommends that you retain one
year of benefit history.
IMPORTANT This program permanently deletes data. Before you run this
program, back up your data according to your organization's procedures. Before
you submit the report, carefully review the parameters.
IMPORTANT Before you submit the report, review the information you
want purged by selecting Report Only in the Update field.
BN430 offers you three ways to purge benefits. You can purge:
- all benefits, flex dollar records, employee deductions, and
standard time records under a flex plan for a specified flex plan year.
- all non-flex benefit and deductions with a stop date that
is equal to or earlier than a particular date.
- all non-flex benefit and deductions in effect on a particular
date. Lawson strongly recommends caution when using this option. It is
designed
to purge test data and as a result will purge benefits even if payroll history
exists.
