CXPRACTNR FILE
Case Cart Practitioners
The Case Cart Practitioners file contains practitioner information. The
system uses this file to validate the practitioner ID and retrieve
practitioner data when you assign a practitioner to a template or case. Use
CX04.1 (Practitioner) to build this file or to delete practitioner records
from this file.

Element: Practnr Id This field contains the practitioner
ID. This value must be unique for each
practitioner in the Case Carts system.
CPR-LAST-NAME Alpha 30 (Lower Case)
Element: Last Name This field contains the last name of
the practitioner.
CPR-FIRST-NAME Alpha 15 (Lower Case)
Element: First Name This field contains the first name of
the practitioner.
CPR-MIDDLE-INIT Alpha 1
Element: Middle Init This field contains the middle initial
of the practitioner.
CPR-LICENSE-NBR Alpha 15
Element: License Nbr This field contains the practitioner
license number for the practitioner.
CPR-LICENSE-EXPR Numeric 8 (yyyymmdd)
Element: License Expr This field contains the expiration date
for the practitioner license.
CPR-PRACTNR-GRP Alpha 15
Element: Practnr Grp This field defines the group to which
the practitioner belongs. Groups are
user defined.
Groups allow searching or reporting by
a classification such as a group
practice, specialty (cardiology,
obstetrics, and so on), inpatient,
outpatient, emergency, and so on.

Element: Addr1 This field contains the first line of
address information for the
practitioner.
CPR-ADDR2 Alpha 30 (Lower Case)
Element: Addr1 This field contains the first line of
address information.
CPR-PHONE-PREFIX Alpha 6
Element: Phone Prefix This field contains the telephone
number country code.
CPR-PHONE-BUSINESS Alpha 15
Element: Phone This field contains the practitioner
business phone number.
For example, the area code plus the
7-digit business phone number. You may
use separator characters, such as
hyphens, slashes, or parentheses.

Element: Phone Ext This field contains the telephone
extension number.
CPR-FAX-PREFIX Alpha 6
Element: Phone Prefix This field contains the fax number
prefix.

Element: Phone Ext This field contains the practitioner
fax number extension.
CPR-BEEPER-PREFIX Alpha 6
Element: Phone Prefix This field contains the beeper dialup
prefix.

specialty.
CPR-PROC-VALIDATE Alpha 1
Element: All Flag This field controls which items you can
assigned to practitioner-specific
templates.
Select Yes to limit the procedures you
can add to practitioner-specific
templates. In such cases, the Case Carts
system validates procedures added to
templates against the procedures listed
in the Procedures tab on the
Practitioner form.
Select No to allow assignment of any
procedure to a practitioner-specific
template for the practitioner.
