I was wonder if anyone is using the GTIN/GLN regarding procurement. It appears that this is going to be a requirement at some point and was curious if anyone is using this. We are upgrading to 9.0.1 (currently on 9.0.0.7) and have been requested by GHX to start using it.

We are going to be implementing this soon. Currently we are on 9.0.1.2 which isn't really ready for the changes that GTIN/GLN bring, but we are in the planning stages for 9.0.1.5 for other reasons, and this version of the environment has all of the GTIN/GLN capabilities as a side benefit.

We have the GLNs for all our ship-tos built in the GS1 registry and loaded in IC02. But we are still on 9.0.0.4 apps so are not ready to use GLNs in trasactions. Still waiting to see how the GTINs will become available.

Because of some other issues, our go-live date for MSP5 has been pushed to mid-July. We are very busy with a limited team with limited resources/time to test. Was wondering if this is the correct place to be asking for a good recommendation for a consultant to come do some of the work necessary to get the GLN/GTIN implemented?
Anyone have any input?

Hi Greg
Great timing as I have already setup one of my clients with GLNs and am just getting them up and running with using the Lawson EDI GLN translation set to transact using GLNs. I am booked on my current engagement until July but would be happy to talk with you prior to that if you'd like and can certainly assist you with testing after that time. Now that I've gone through the setups for GLNs and some GTINs, based on the new functionality as it develops within Lawson for GTINS- I should be able to pick up on that pretty quickly. Feel free to send me an email at amanda@valcikandassociates.com if you would like to discuss the GLNs and GTINs further.
