We are running AC120 for the first time in 5 years and it is taking anywhere from 18 to 25 hours to run. We have tried different servers and it makes no difference. We are on a HPUX server with 16 cpu's and 16 Gb of memory. Apps 8.0.3.9 Env 8.0.3.7.

Is this normal? Is there a way to shorten the run time? TIA

What parameters/options are using? AC120 runs the balance rebuilds (like AC580), which can take forever to run (I've actually created some custom versions of them because the run-time was so long that it interfered with normal processing...)

The other big question:
How many activities have you reorganized? and how much history?
this program updates lots of files. Even before rebuilding, its rewriting every ACTRANS record. So, if you have thousands of reorged activities and millions of transactions, this could take a very long time.

ACTRANS = 3.3 million records

Still trying to find out the other info.
