I know you can use "Ctrl-Shift-O" to view the name of the corresponding field from a screen in Lawson Portal. Is there a way to identify the name of the table as well?

Yes, but it's a little complicated. I use the add ins query. The prefix you see when you use the control shift O function identifies the table. For example in the AP20 the Invoice Number field is identified as API-INOICE|ID_f27... If you put the prefix "API" in the Table Fields Translation box at the bottom left side of the fields tab of the MS AddIns Query Wizard, it will tell you the name of the table. Hope that helps.

OK, now that you say that I see the prefixes are also listed in the beginning of the Data File Text documents.
Thanks!

Hello,
I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone out there with lawson 9.0. In PO13 under the vendor item when you right click, there a drill around and select option. For those with lawson 9.0, do you get an error when you use the drill around in PO13? If so, what is the difference between drill around and select?
Thanks for any help or suggestion.

We have version 9 and in PO13 the select option is like using the drop down box, the drill around is of course looking back at other related information. I did not recieve an error message on PO13 drill.
What is the error message? Could it be more security related than programatic?
