I have several recurring journal entries that were set up as automatic zero but post the previous month amounts and have the release status. These entries were than interface to the general ledger and are now posted. Is there an easier way to fix these entries without having to upload or key in the entire entry over? I try to copy the entries but since they were set up as automatic zero they have no dollar amounts.

you can always copy and reverse any entry. go to GL40, select the New JE button, then the Copy button. under existing entry, select the system code, ( for the RJ, whatever you use for that system code) the year, period (that has the entry you want to copy and reverse) the journal type and the journal number. Use the drop down lists, that is the easiest. be sure to select Reverse Values, yes, and make sure it is not set to automatically reverse (unless for some reason you want it to...) if you get lost, you can email me at ggudgel@urmstores.com

To delete an RJE go to GL70.1, enter the company, type, and JE#. Inquire and the entry will display. Click on the New Enrtry button (GL70.2) and then click delete.
