Currently we have multiple head/independent process levels but have not allowed employees to cross process levels. With the acquisition of another entity, I will need to add another head/independent process level. Since we already have employees working  here and at the organization we will bring on January 1, we must find a way for these employees to cross process levels. Therefore, we have to set up the system to meet our needs when employees work in multiple head/independent process levels with different EINs. We do not use Position Codes.

I understand that I can add another position entry on   Read more...HR11 for the other independent/head process level assigned the other P/L, department, job code, and rate. This would force the wages to be expensed correctly to the GL.  All benefits and required deductions  use the same GL accounts and cost centers.  The wage expense will be the only variance between the 3 head/independent process levels.  Kronos is out time-keeping system.  The hours are transferred and uploaded into Lawson using the PRTRCSV upload.  We include the process level in this file.

Question1: Can I force the deductions to come from the home process level on HR11?

Question 2: Is there any way to report all the earnings on one W-2 (home process level)? Infor tells me no, but I have seen old posts on Infor that this can be done.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am crunched for time and look forward to your feedback.
