We recently changed our security to allow the use of PA52.4. The security is set up the same in production and our test environment. However in the test environment, all of the buttons along the top (change, add, inquire, etc) are missing. None of us have them. Our IT person logged into LID and was able to see the buttons and we were able to process a New Hire via the PA52.4 in LID. But in the 9.0.1 portal they are not available.
Lawson is at a loss and has not been able to provide us a fix. Anyone else ever experience this issue and if so, how did you fix it?
FYI for anyone that is interested. The fix was:
after much testing and comparing we discovered there was an issue with pgmdef 1) the PA52.4 form Id had an extra entry with double quotes - we removed that 2) also noticed the form transfer menus were missing we ran pgmdump from prod, pgmload -p to dev, cleared IOSCache, ran scrgen and xscrgen and all is working as it should
