Hello,
On occassions our PR141 and PR197 are out of balance. It is always related to employer portion of deduction amounts such as Medicare, 403b, health, dental, etc. I can find the employees, the deuctions, and the amounts but cannot find the reason for this out of balance condition. Our Lawson IT resources cannot find why would this be and the database looks good. Is anyone else having this issue? if yes, did you find the cause? Thank you, Monika

Are you running PR141 and PR197 at the same time? I'm eliminating the possibility that it's a process/timing issue.

Hi Karen,
We run the PR jobs in order. The PR141 is always completed before we start PR197 in the report mode. Thank you

That happened to us when an employee record was changed in HR11, after PR141. Only the process level recon was out of balance, as a whole it balanced.
Did your IT folks do a full recon PAYDEDUCTN and PRDISTRIB on the payrolls it didn't balance?

Hi Carolyn,
We found a CTP84787 that should help us with this issue. Thank you for your reply.
