Reversal of Level 2 Actions

    New to LawsonGuru but not HRIS, happy to be here!

    I was hoping to get some advice: I've got a few pending history corrections on Level 2 positions for a couple of my employees: I'm changing the end-date of one position from one date to another, and the other employee needs their Level 2 position reopened after it was end-dated via miscommunication from a line manager. Problem is, when I attempt to do a reversal/combined action for these employees via PA52.5, I receive an error message reading "Employee Position record not found for pos level." Has anybody ever received this message, and if so how was it fixed? Thanks in advance.

      We have never been able to correct a stop date on positions (and the dates need to be updated frequently here) - we've always performed screen paints. I've never quite understood the programming logic, particularly if there's earlier position history. I would think it would be simple to reverse the date using special processing (we require personnel action use), but it's never been the case. If anyone else has another option, I'd love to hear it!!
