I am getting an intermittent error message when making a jquery post to Lawson's transaction IOS API.  I am trying to add a line to an existing order through OE10.1 and I am getting a message telling me that  "Account cannot be entered for inventory items".  The field that the message is referring to is "COL-EXP-ACCT-UNIT".  What I'm not understanding is that I am not putting anything into this field when doing the AGS call.  I don't get this error on every attempt and most attempts work without any issue.  I have compared successful/unsuccessful attempts in fiddler and the successful attempts have data in only the fields that I am intentionally populating.  The unsuccessful attempts have data in fields that I have not populated.  Has anyone else experienced anything like this?  Any clues?

      Hi -

Are you still having this issue? If you are, please let me know as I had the same problem with either PO20 or RQ10 and it was intermittent and through an AGS call also (we use AGS alot here). I can dig back through my notes and tell you what was causing it if you haven't resolved it yet. I know I found the resolution/cause - I just can't remember it off the top of my head.

        Hi Laura,

Thanks for the reply!  I think I've narrowed it down to the INITDTL parameter on the AGS call.  I've included this parm and set it to TRUE.  So far in the testing that we've done since, I have not had any problems.  I would be interested to hear if this was the fix for you all as well.

        Thanks,
        Wes

          Hi Laura or Wes,

I am having trouble with this and I tried setting the INITDTL to true but it is not working for me.
My issue seems to be related to line items that have a different UOM. I receive the "Account cannot be entered for inventory items" on the second line item. The first one goes in fine.
If I have 2 lines with the same UOM - no issues - they both go in fine.
If I set the line item type to "N" - they both go in fine on an order with two different UOM's.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!

          Thanks
          Laurie

            Hi Laurie/Wes -

I'm not sure if either of you are still having this issue - but if you are - please email me directly at work.  I'm sorry I haven't had time to check the posts on here as much as I should lately.

I know I've had this same issue and I was able to figure it out - I'd just have to dig back through my notes.

Please email me at lpatena@yankeecandle.com if you need help and I'll do whatever I can to help you.

            Thanks,
            Laura
