i used lawson id to install/configure lawson from day one. now, its mandatory to change system pwd every 90 days. the only place that i can think of that lawson password is hard-coded, $LAWDIR/system/install.cfg
any other place that i need to change ?

If 'lawson' is also your in your ldap as the Administrator, you might have to change it there.
If 'lawson' or other system ID's are in your CAP files, you might have to change it there too.
Other places such as *.properties in $LAWDIR/system such as bpm.properties the pw is encrypted, which as you say, can come from pfserv config all.
