Is there a way to make a dump/report of the 3 letter file prefix's and file names? As an example, I'm talking about dumping info such as:

    Prefix File
    APP APPAYMENT
    PLI POLINE

    etc etc

    Thanks!

Yup. You can do it using rngdbdump--see this article:
      https://www.lawsonguru.co...ble-Field-Names.aspx

You can also do it from web browser to dump into a CSV:
      http://<>/cgi-lawson/dme.exe?PROD=GEN&FILE=FILEDEF&FIELD=FILENAME;SYSTEMCODE;PREFIX&SELECT=PRODUCTLINE=DEV802&OUT=EXPORT

Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

I used Monarch to pull these out of the documentation from Lawson. Let me know if you would like any specific module.

I wrote a script to create a web page containing this information. I'd be happy to share it off-line. We've got it linked under all users Help menu's now, as we do a lot of Crystal, Add-Ins, SQL querying, etc.

            Seems to work rather well.
