We recently installed Landmark and are now looking more into IPA.  I set up a quick email IPA to make sure it works and it sent the email as expected.  So, I would now like to use IPA with LSF.  I found a guide "Infor Lawson System Foundation Using Infor Process Automation Configuration Guide"  The process for configuring IPA to work with LSF doesn't look horrible, but I am stuck with a question during the initial setup of the IPA productline.

When you get to the configure database access section it is asking for the database and schema for IPA.  Currently we have an lmgen database and inside our LSF database there are two schemas, one for LSF and the other for Recall Management (a Landmark Application).  Recall Management needs it's own schema inside the LSF database.

My question is should the IPA schema reside inside the lmgen database, or inside the LSF database like the recall management schema?  Also, if anyone has this setup already, what did you name your IPA schema?

    Any help /ideas are appreciated.

    Thanks

I would suggest putting it into its own database.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

Thought about that, my concern is that they required Recall Management to be in a schema inside the LSF database, so I was wondering if IPA was the same way since it talks to the LSF tables too.
