My client is on Lawson Environment 8.0.3 and Application 8.0.3 MSP#10.

There are about 150 users created in Lawson. I want to know out of 150 users, how many of them have logged on to Lawson in the last 90 days.  Is there a way to find this out in Lawson ?

The client is using Portal and RD30 records exist for the users.  I tried accesing SIRDIDHDR table in LOGAN productline. This gives me the userid and date /time of creation of the user id. I am interested in the last login details of the users.

    Thanks.

An easy way is to check their log files in each user's HOME directory. This is only for LID login in and does not work for PORTAL login. Also check out each user's job log or print directory if you want to see the last time a batch program was run by that user.

For Portal login, it will be more difficult. Unfortunately 8.0.3 Lawson does not provide a one-stop shop for reporting who and when a Portal user last logged in.  If your Portal resides on a Windows server, you might want to try looking at the log files stored there: logan.log, and IOS.log. Also you might also want to try turning on logging at the OS level to log each time a user accesses or logs into that Windows server which is what in effect they are doing when they log into Portal.

There is no way you can find the exact  login details in Lawson for the users who have logged on on 8.x version. User monitoring and auditing option comes with ISS and requires atleas tto be on 9.x version. You can get some basic info from ios.log file and it won't be in the format in which you are expecting but certainly it can be helpful. Unix level logs won't be useful to you as endusers will only use portal for accessing lawson.

How to enable user monitoring & auditing in ISS, pls refer to  KB(s)

Yes, some info will be there on ios.log, but it is not complete one. Actually , sometime back ,we were also asked by management to find the user's last login detail. I opened up a case with infor. Infor advised that for user monitoring & auditing one should be having ISS and that feature should be turned on.

              Thanks,
