Hi All,
Is there a Lawson parameter which would timeout / close a session after certain "idletime" ( Oracle provides a profile parm) ?
Frinstance some users do not log off Lawson but lock/close their workstations .
Thanks !

Wonder if there is any other way to disconnect (timeout) sessions which are with long idle times ?
(maybe theres no parm in Lawson 8.x )
Thanks !

in SSOCONFIG there is...(I'm on Windows). SSOCONFIG -C. Option 1. Select whatever the existing value is and click enter. Don't change anything on the next line, just hit enter. Then you can enter a time out value in minutes for sign on sessions. Defaults to 60.
You'll have to stop and start the environment for it to take effect.

This is a great thread - thank you. I just started receiving complaints from our business managers about the default timeout setting of 60 minutes. Our CRM app timeout is set to 24 hours, so the comparision seems painful to cross application users. I've increased this setting using these instructions, and I have happy lawson users again!

Also be aware that you may need to change the Websphere Session timeout, depending on your application usage scenarios. The default is 30 minutes.
