LS to STS Authentication

    If you have successfully set up and configured LS to STS authentication on S10 (version 10.0.x),
    drop me an email at:  rfrench5@gmail.com  or respond here to this thread.

    Trying to set it up. This is new "technology", and can't seem to get the "Trusted Identity Provider" and "Lawson Security Token Service" options to actually appear when trying to change the Authentication Providers.Tried rebooting, DSP, etc.

      You probably want to create a new web application (page 34) and choose "Claims based Authentication" in order for Trusted Identity Provider/Lawson STS to appear as Authentication Providers.

      But before that, you probably will need to uninstall practically everything from Workspace Identity Provider/Workspace/DSP/Plugin and probably sharepoint also.

      Reinstall sharepoint, skip the default webapp creation during first-time-install-config. Instead, manually create a webapp using claims based authentication, then create the site collection following the guide.

      After all these, you will get the Trusted identity provider/Lwason STS appears under Authentication Providers... but more surprises await...
