We are upgrading our LSF9 environment from 9018 to 90111 and have been finding "undocumented" enhancements for additional LASE security requirements for the IOS Web Services tokens.

So far I have had to add access for all CheckLS=YES users for fm_get, fm_save and ios_what to get portal access and employee self service to work.

Anyone else experiencing this?? Infor/Lawson has very little documentation on this subject.

Thanks in advance for any insight and or documentation.

This error seems to keep popping up as Lawson/Infor adjusts their code... See KB 1202748 for what we've done.
FYI- we did this shortly after testing LS security a couple years ago. Lawson keeps saying it's fixed with PT such-and-such but then they break it again. Leave it in a security role that gets assigned to all users, and you should be set!

We upgraded from 9.0.1.8 to 9.0.1.11 also (test only), and on the HP Integrity, and we've had issues from the start.

The first major issue was when we would bring up a screen, say HR11, all of the input fields had HR11.1 in them. I opened a ticket with Lawson/Infor, and they told me that I needed to delete all of the form ID's under IOS Web Services that didn't start with fp_, and then retstart the App Server. Apparently the install process left out cleaning up those files, so it needed to be done manually. That helped some, but I still ended up having to recompile the entire productline to get things back to normal.

The second issue we ran into trying to run the ldapbind to bind to a new LDAP server that we're moving too. We would get the long java error message after entering the password for the utility. Lawson/Infor is telling me now that it's because we didn't run the LDAP schema update that is no longer handled during the install process. It's all manual now, and apparently this started with 9.0.1.6. I had no idea that they had stopped doing that. It's probably my fault because I've been doing these updates for years without reading the install instructions. Apparently there is now a small blurb in the documentation, but it doesn't exactly stand out.

Either way, I'm not entirely sure if I want to upgrade the production instance to 9.0.1.11. I'm very hesitant at doing it at this point.

These are the only tokens we have in IOS Web Services after installing 9.0.1.11:
        fp_fmcopr Form Copier Online
        fp_fmdeltr Form Deleter Online
        fp_fmgetr Form Getter Online
        fp_fmpubsr Form Publisher Online
        fp_tpdeltr Form Type Deleter Online

Will deleting the ios_what file cause any issue on hotkeys, lbltitle issues or on that ImageNow logging issues?

Has anyone had these issues after deleting the ios_what file?

          Thanks
