LSF9 64 bit

    We are a Windows shop and would like to know if anyone has gone to 64 bit 9.1 apps and environment.  What problems did you face both with the install and daily operations and what are your thoughts about it..

    Given a chance would you do it again?

      We are a Unix shop that just went to 64 bit 9.01 apps, 9.01 LSF. We built out on a new LPAR and had really no significant issues either with the install or operations. We went live Nov 22 but have not experienced any system slowness, hanging, ect.

      Only issue we still have outstanding are more functional in nature that were found during the first month end close.

      We would do this again without hesitation. This had set us up for the future and the possibility to run smart office.

        Did you install Websphere 7 or 6? I am planning an upgrade from LSF 9.0.0.4 to LSF 9.0.1.5 and am trying to sort out all the pieces to upgrade. We are AIX 5.2

          We installed websphere 6, we tried to stay away from the cutting edge on websphere based on the past history of one of our Unix admins who in a past job had issues with the lastest and greatest websphere.

          We made the jump from 9.0.0.5 to 9.0.1.4. I am not sure the AIX version we are on off hand
