We are on Windows and upgrading from 8.0.3.7 to lsf 9. I noticed that the lawdir variable has changed from \LINTE\APPS to LSFAPP\LAW. It appears that for work files such as pr530, I need to change the external filename to accommodate the change in file structure.
Is there a way to plug in the variable versus hard coding the filename with path?'
I've tried %lawdir%/productline/work/filename and I get the error; no such file or directory. Is my syntax incorrect or will I have to change all of my jobs to point to the new location via hard coding the external name?
I'm hoping that I can use the variable so that in the future if locations/variables change, this will not require any work on my part.

I do not believe you can use the variable. However, you can do a mass-change of the PATH in job definitions. Just do a jobdump, modify resulting file and jobload it back (or use -m option of jobdump/jobload if it's only LAWDIR)
