Our systems support group is upgrading Exchange.  They have advised that any application like Smart Notfication will be required to use the new SMTP relay to Exchange 2007.

Is the change for Smart Notification in the devicetypes.xml configuration file which I assumed had the definitions for the the device types that are used by notifications?  I made the change there but to no avail.

We recently upgraded to Exchange 2007. There is a setting on the exchange server that needs to be made to accept entries from unidentified sources.

On the congig assistant on smart notes there is a small change where you put in the ip of the exchange server. You can test the lawson side by adding an email device as yourself on LBI and sending yourself a test email. If you receive the test email from LBI then the lawson side does not have an issue.
