We've been assigned a task for creating a proposal for archiving/purging our Lawson data.
We've been on Lawson now 12 years, and not one purge/archive program has been run. I know there are certain regulatory requirements involved, but I'd be interested in hearing/sharing what other Lawson customers have already been doing.
What brought this up was a Ciber-sponsered webinar today on their solution for archiving.
Any high-level planning docs that anyone would be willing to share? Pros/Cons, Risks/Benefits, etc.
Thanks in advance,
-Greg

Thanks for that link, John. Wondering if it would really pay for us to develop our own solution to this, or to just pay for some expertise from companies that have already identified the process.
But I guess that's a decision that our team here will have to make.
I would really like this to be an on-going and self-sustaining solution and not just a one-time thing.
