has anyone upgraded to environment version 9.0.1.13? We were upgrading to version 9.0.1.13 but have all kinds of problems towards the end while using the commands to upgrade the LDAP local schema using the meta data file and the ldiffde command. If anyone has successfully upgraded can you share youe experience ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ruma.

We are going to 9.0.1.13. Did this improve your LDAP connection? We were getting a 'Page not found' error using 9.0.1.9. And were told .13 would address the issue?

I am planning on moving from 9.0.1.9 to 9.0.1.13 in the near future and would like to hear about any problems people have run into or if you needed to upgrade WAS.
We do not have any major issues on ESP 9 but need to upgrade in preparation for BSI V10. Thanks.

I am trying to find any KB's on going from 9.0.1.9 to 9.0.1.13. If anyone know of the KB. I would appreciate the information.

I am looking for the instructions. Where did you find them under on the Info Xtreme site? Or if you already have them. Would you mind emailing them to me? Randy.Powell@fresnounified.org

Hello. We are on Environment 9.0.1.7 on a Windows Server 2003. We need to upgrade to 9.0.1.13. Is it absolutely necessary to upgrade the Windows server from 2003 to 2008? Where can I find the upgrade manual?

2003 and ADAM, no longer support by lawson and Microsoft.

Yes. Windows Server 2003 is no longer supported.

You will have to understand that Windows Server 2008 R2 is x64 only

What version of Windows Server 2003 are you running -- x86 or x64 ? If x86, you will need to install LSF and components fresh on new hardware or VM and migrate, there is no way to upgrade directly from x86 to x64.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

We made the jump from 9019 to 901.13 because of BSI v10 as well. While I did not encounter any issues with the LDAP schema update (did this during the 9019), I did have a few issues with Tomcat7 installing and staying "Up" as a service. (We are Windows shop). I basically had to install Java v1.7, and map this path in the setup for Tomcat to function and BSI to launch. Other than that, we did not upgrade our WAS (still on WAS 7), and havent had any major issues to report. Yes, the isntall guide is helpful TJ Man

I am having a problem with the TF10 client login not working. The setup seemed to go ok, the ODBC connection tests good and the PRD Tomcat service is running but I cannot let past the login screen. I keep getting "login cannot be validated now or is not entered correctly". BSI has been extremely hard to reach and the only advice was to uninstall and resinstall. Has anyone run into this TF10 login issue? Thanks.

Hey Joe - Did you set all your Env Variables, run the install in order - I know it sounds trivial, but it can be pesky. Also, make sure when your DBA carves out the DB space that the DB/Schema TF10 (uppercase), and are you using Windows Authentication or no? (Sorry if you already said you were windows or not)
