I would like to enable (temporarily) more detailed WebSphere logging on our non-production system.  I would like to be able to see that a session has been created on a specific appserver, for instance.  I see logging options under the Troubleshooting menu but I'm not sure where to go from there.  Any suggestions?

      Hi Gary -

A couple options - generally you will want to turn on the Performance Monitoring Infrastructure in WAS console and use the Tivoli Performance viewer to look at specific session connections etc. There are many options and you can monitor in real time. You might also want to turn on Verbose Garbage Collection and then view the log files using PMAT if you suspect JVM issues as well.

      HTH.

        Rob,

Thanks for the info, it sounds like that is what we are looking for as we are trying to track the traffic flow to different JVM's.
